Mypage Re-Design Beta released
We have just released our new re-designed Mypage.
It can be found here: http://www.stickam.com/member/beta/myPage.do
In addition to a new look and easier to use navigation we have also enabled live previews of any of your friends currently live on stickam. To view just mouse over the friends profile photo in either the Mypage “My Friends tab’ or your Live Friends Page
There are more tweaks and features to be added still but let us know in the comments what you think.

I really like the new look,Its great yu should be able to move our own stuff tho like on our home page,If we didn’t want ads of other people.We should be able to remove them because there really anoying! But great job stickam. (P.S YOU SHOULD GIVE US BACK PRIVATE) Thanks welsh.

I like it gives it the more space freedom but in a stickam way.
Makes it look a lot sleeker and nicer
But i think the friends in the middle takes to much room and should be moved over… and smaller.
Also looks like you guys forgot about the status’
Theirs no option for what your status is like happy or sad or angry and what not…
Please fix that and make the friends smaller and when you scroll over make it a click to lurk the room from the homepage and not a mouse scroll over…

miami ink: if you click the “in a chatroom” text, it should still take you to the chatroom they are in.

Hey, I like the new layout
But it would be nice if there was an idle status on members who are in your room. I understand how that might be too advanced for right now, but could you guys think about that? I thought that would be a nice feature to added so I know who is away from their keyboard.

I do not like this. The friend icons are WAAAY too big, it doesnt give you the right overview.
it is simplicified, and not simplified. not easier to navigate, hard to in a quick way see who’s online and live.
i’ve studied this new beta and i see no advantages with this.

Nicely done man! Is it possible to give us an option of who to see on the Mypage? Like we have a lot of users added but some of them aren’t necessarily friends. So it’s not important for them to be on the Mypage lol. Like maybe an option to use My Favorites to show as we open our Mypage would be nice. Or maybe a disable button so the unwanted ones don’t have to show on Mypage or Live users ;-).
Thanks and hopefully, the chat rooms page is next :-). A flash page where we can personalize with our chat room rules to feature the hosts and moderators as they click on the chat room name, would be nice too.

looks good and i like it.
it needs to have a way to show just online friends also.
there is noway to tell who is online and who isnt when u go to ur friends.
other than that everything looks good!!
and you need to give private feature back or something similar

lame. its like showcasing your friends list instead of having easy access to your own page. i know what friends i have, i dont need one click access to their page on the page that is supposed to be ‘My Page’. Duh. Typical Stickam upgrade……useless. Find a small corner to put them and dont change the rest of it much. Why dont you change the profile page, like being able to add more widgets or able to place pics and text anywhere on the page instead of leaving two unmovable columns as the only place to put things? Take a look at Wix, they have a great set-up….you wanna impress peoples, do THAT.

I don’t like it very much. Whats wrong with the way it is. The friend pics are WAY too big. You can only see a lot less on ur home page. Its better when u click on show all, but the default setting seems to be who’s live. If I want to se “all” I want to see ALL, not just who’s live. I like the old tabs instead of the menu. It doesn’t look as good either. The only thing I like is getting the live preview, but we can got that already in “who’s Live”. You don’t need to change things just to make them different. Unless you can make it better, stick with what already works good. If i had a choice (which i probably won’t) I’d just keep my page the way it is. What I WOULD like to see is a better chat window. Be able to make the videos larger, or full screen without the chat stream disappearing. Also, need to be able to make PM windows come outside of the chat window. You get more than 3 or 4 PM’s going at once and there’s no more room. You should be able to drag them anywhere onto your browser window, if not your desktop.

One other thing… BlogTV has a feature that lets you see the last 100 people that visited your profile page. That would be a real nice addition.

Awesome Looks Great! Thanks for REMOVING the privacy feature in Aug. and KEEPING IT OFF a lot of members and some VERY young users were getting abused on by the large about of pedophiles and perverts trolling your site. GOOD MOVE STICKAM! Maybe a warning about how your users can and ARE being recorded by 3rd party software while being watched in their live would be the next logical step from keeping stickam as porn free as possible.

The page we have now is actually more user friendly. The new page calendar section does not tell if you have been approved or not, there’s more clicks to get the same result and less things available. I do like the preview feature but would prefer it on the my page we have now.
Please consider a better stats section for entertainers. Some way to see total session views while doing a show would be nice.

Really sick of people lurking and never joining lives. A host should have the option in room settings to set a timeout for lurkers in minutes ie When launching my live I should be able to choose to disable public cam for that user once they’ve lurked for say, 5 minutes.

you guys should add a chat like myspace and facebook so that you can pm your online friends without having to send them messages … i think this would be a great addition to the site if anyone else agrees with me dont hesitate to leave a comment and let stickam know! =)

Is this the reason why you’ve now messed up the Menu code? It doesn’t display correctly in Firefox. Instead of the javascript menu it just shows up as a vertical list of links down the left side of the screen. (on every page) Anything underneath is unclickable… please fix.

I like the new look but I kind of dont like the fact that you cant follow your friends if they are in a room from the my page. I hope you guys are going to be putting that in before completely releasing this
