Stickam’s front page has a new look!
Welcome to our all new front page! We listened to the great suggestions we received from our community and are happy to implement changes you asked for. Some of our new front page features include the display of a short biography for featured shows, a quick at-a-glance preview of the schedule of upcoming featured shows, and recent recorded highlights of shows and events that were captured live on Stickam.
To have your show or event be included on the StreamGuide schedule. please make sure to fill out your calendar (on your Mypage) and check off the “request to be featured” box.
Have a great recorded clip you’d like us to feature? Send us an email with a link to showtime@stickam.com.

Did ye listen to “us” when we asked to fix the on-going connection/lag issues with peoples lives, or a patch to stop people from crashing other users lives, or how about the on-going lag users cause in chatrooms, or how about an explanation as to why the “Live Search” option is gone from the menu, but is still there? or perhaps an expiation on why the “private” option was taken away.
(well ok maybe we know the answer to the last one, but still…)
all these have being asked before.
stop wasting money on so called “new features” and pump the money into what needs to be fixed EG: severs!!, instead of wasting it on stupid new layouts.

Hi I have one question What can you do about the audio some shows have ther audio cuts out and some times they will get choppy audio and video is there some way to fix it.Other them that. there is A worm that could caus problums with every ones P.C. It poped up on the Stickam site today. Justin TV is haveing the same thing going on to and this worm will block you from getting in on all web sites It will even stop you from down load avg on your p.c.and I notest That Stickam has the sameone on this site it is a persnal Anti Viris Protection and it’s a scam don’t download it at all. every since this new home page was put up i can’t even load my Page.. or get in to any chat rooms… so it’s kinda down thing for me… and i agree that stickam does not need new changes to the way it looks, but to how it works.. and the private option should be replaced on the live chats… i’d like to be able to talk to friends with out being interupted by anyone.. specailly when i havn’t talked to them in a long time..

in regaurds to what Stickitupurkam said, the lag issues with Stickam are not because of the servers, but the bandwidth. you can only fit so much down the pipe. and Stickam having so many members that go Live and all the people on cam in the chat rooms and what not, takes a lot of bandwidth, and i mean A LOT! so yeah, don’t think there’s much they can do about the lag bit. but the other problems Stickitupurkam stated, can surely be fixed and i hope Stickam fixes them ^.^

The new page doesnt give ordinary users the chance to get featured as much and is obviously heavily sponsored. But it makes the site look more legit

Way to go guys *claps hands* you really screwed up the site this time. It is slower then ever, the lives just die and nobody can start a new live or anything for several minutes. Why dont you listen to the people and do what they want instead of doing all this other crap. The site has way to many issues to fix instead of coming up with new things which in return slows everything down that much more. You need to fix the connectivity issues, it is crazy how much this site is actually down/frozen and nobody can make anything work during this time, im not talking a few seconds, now it is actually several minutes.
And the private, I understand you did this because of dumbass John Hock ( a one in a million case, probably will never hapen again) and there was probably other complaints, but you need to understand this is a great feature that many people used the right way. When we get who we want in our chat then we went private to keep others out, we dont want every single person on our friends or other members in our chat, we lost a ton of control over losing the private room. Now rooms get raided with 300 people and we can’t control it except to restart the chat and wait for who we want while the chat refills up again with people we don’t want and having to kick out people all over again this is crap the things we have to go through to control a room without private. The members had perfect control of there private chat. It makes no sense because you all will never take responsibility for what takes place in a private anyway, so why lose the feature? Simply make a statement pop up explaining the dangers of private and make them click it and take responsibility for themselves before the private will even start. Simple fix

i like the new look…i suppose….BUTTTTTTTTTTT i don’t like how the private option is gone.
can you guys please get that back… i want a private room to talk with my true FRIENDS only without all these other nosey people getting in withOUT MY permission : |
