Your slow servers suck to bad for this to be a good feature. people i know of have been offline for an hour and still shows them as live, the ones that are live it wont connect for a preview…always says waiting on stickam…waiting on stickam..we are SICK of waiting on stickam… Why don’t you work on the dang slow servers with an upgrade instead doing stuff like this. everyone is sick of the site being slow, the lag. frequent disconnects, not being able to get in lives because the servers lag behind…

Very nice this feature is good also for people who dont like the laggy startup stickam live streams used to have.

I like the new feature its good, but the video seem to stay as “connecting” all the time. Now i have a problem searching true the live users because it take alot more time than the old player did.

Doing page upgrades is a waste of time. If you want to please us then work on the dang servers..THEY SUCK…We are tired of the lag, the disconnects, player not working, how hard it is to enter chats, the freeze ups, the kicks off…FIX ALL THAT, then worry about design. This new page is no good, the servers are to slow, there is no previews on more then half the lives, it shows people live that are not live. You need a filter for private chat..put it back like it was with the old live search

Good job at doing something that does not matter. Fix something we care about..like the SERVERS!!! Make the players work. I’m sick of all the lag where the video is a minute or more behind the audio, the chat losing connection and going offline every 30 minutes or less. how it takes 5 minutes to enter a chat because the player is not connecting. and a ton more..all a simple fix..get better servers!! Everyone bitches about this but yet you all just let it go on def ears.That is why blogtv is thriving and stickam still sucks.

PLEASE put back the live search.. this one one sucks! I can’t find any of the people that I used to talk to because of this new “better feature”.
Not to mention the ads… get a better business model that doesn’t include so many ads with every click.

Stickam does have a lot of issues with being bogged down. My live crashes a lot as do most users. Please speed it up. If I were a competing with Stickam I’d make a simple site with good servers and it probably wouldn’t take long to be a bigger site.

indeed you should bring back the live search button. also, i noticed when you’re a mod in someone’s live and you kick someone it allows the whole room to know you kicked someone. i don’t like that. however, you should put in a feature that lets the host know who’s lurking their live. i have 1 lurker everytime i go live and this person sits there and watches me the whole time. it’s creepy, so i think a notice or some message should show up in the main chat to tell you who is lurking you that way if the person has bad intentions they’ll know that host is aware of who they are.oh well, just my opinion.

Changes like this are a waste of programmer time and money…. the preview window is no use compared to the original large view on the previous version.
More importantly, the very excellent “Live Search” is missing from the pulldown, and this is the only really effective way of finding people to talk to in the stickam community. Although there are other means (Who’s live, Browse people) they are clumsy and effectively worthless by comparison and must be hardly ever used. Please put things back as they were!! TIA James

Also, does anyone know why after entering about 3 or so rooms, if you attempt to enter another live the page simply will not load. If you wait about 15 minutes you can see lives again.

Do not like.
A) Live Search is broken now.
B) You need more bandwidth - quit single homing with Cogent. They suck. At least bring in Comcast or HE - they are $2-3/mbit on as little as a gigabit commit.
C) Where is the private option? It has uses other than perv’ing. I used to chat 1-on-1 with people, with out the interference of other individuals (IE: Trolls)- No longer can do that.
Listen to your users on what they want, Stickam will be a better place.

Please bring back the old livesearch. The new one isn’t as good and doesn’t keep updating to let you know the latest people who are live. Also why does the old livesearch not load up all of the users pictures anymore. Only half of them will actually show.

There is no doubt that, recently, changes have been implemented, needlessly, that have greatly reduced the usefulness of Stickam.
1. Live Search missing from menus… this is a nuisance because there is no other useful way of finding people to talk to. There was no reason whatsoever to remove this valuable feature
2. Bookmarks have just vanished… and I kept a number of valuable contacts handy this way and could see when they were last active. Now I have to save as a favorite in the browser
3. Cannot set a room to private, so now useless for family get-togethers or one to one chat because others, quite naturally, will be entering.
4. The new login window fools my auto login facility (or that of the browser) so I have to type the full credentials each time. This is a great annoyance. There was nothing wrong with the old version.
If things don’t improve, this site will be losing much of its user base and consequently advertising revenue. Please restore things to how they were a few months ago!
It used to be the case that changes always improved things… now changes make one just wonder what has been wrecked this time!

What is the difference between live search and clicking on Social on the live streams page and then using the same filters there that are available on the left column? Stop the cry baby crap and actually notice its the same shit…they are just making it pages vs loading EVERYONE so people don’t complain about the lag like the did with live search as well…wake up sheeple!
